CAROL REDFORD

FOUNDER

Hi there!

I love helping beginners get into what I think is the best hobby in the world! Maybe even the Universe!

I was a beginner once and know how confusing it can be to start using a telescope or learn about astrophotography.

Not anymore! What I enjoy most is seeing people take big steps to understand astronomy.

Great to meet you!

I’ve been working in the astronomy field since 2012. I started out as a volunteer star-viewing tour guide at Perth Observatory and an Astronomy Guide in Gingin.

I really enjoy seeing someone finally learn how to use their telescope and have a whole new world of astronomy open up.

ROGER GROOM

Astrophotographer

Hi!

I am a software engineer by day and an astrophotographer and amateur astronomy researcher by night.

Spending time with beginner astrophotographers under dark skies to help them learn and enjoy the interest is always something I look forward to.

It’s great to get out in our wonderful country areas, enjoying the dark skies and landscape.
