National Science Week is 11 – 19 August 2018. It’s always a great week full of events and activities and the focus is science!

Galaxy Girl will be out and about stargazing in the beautiful Wheatbelt during the week. This means you have the chance to stand under the beautiful Milky Way and see it like never before.

Where will Galaxy Girl be?

She’ll be visiting the towns of Mukinbudin, Wyalkatchem and Watheroo to participate in some wonderful stargazing nights. Planets will be the big highlight to be seen through telescopes. You’ll see Saturn, Jupiter and Mars! And, because you’ll be under dark night skies, we’ll take a look at some of the fainter objects that are difficult to see in light polluted cities.
